EV TARIFF

ROLE:

Senior Designer

PROBLEM

Most people already know they want an EV. What stops them is the cost — specifically, whether it actually works out cheaper once you factor in their own electricity tariff and how much they drive.

SOLUTION

A calculator that only asks for two things: electricity tariff and mileage. No lead-generation form pretending to be a quiz, no scroll of environmental messaging before the number shows up — just the answer, fast.

Design Decisions

Kept the interface to two inputs on purpose, because every extra field is a reason for someone to give up before they get their answer. The visual language stayed plain and utility-brand appropriate — clear hierarchy around the actual number, minimal colour, no attempt to "sell" the result. It works because it answers the question and then steps back rather than trying to keep selling once it has.
